06:29 AM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lundin Gold ( LUGDF ) late on Thursday released results from conversion and near-mine exploration drilling at the Fruta del Norte gold mine in Ecuador, confirming larger mineralized systems at both FDN South and FDN East.
Highlights of the results include 491.62 grams per tonne gold over 5.20 meters, including 2,286 g/t gold over 1.1 meter at FDN South during the conversion program; 23.23 g/t gold over 7.7 meters, including 329 g/t gold over 0.4 meters at FDN South during the exploration program; and 14.1 g/t gold over 10.8 meters, including 56.09 g/t gold over 2.4 meters at FDN East during the exploration program.
At FDN South, conversion program drill results confirmed the gold mineralization and defined new mineralized zones within the main vein system. Exploration drilling has expanded the limits of the deposit and confirmed a larger mineralized system than previously understood.
Lundin has completed the 2025 conversion program at FDN South on a portion of the existing inferred mineral resource, advancing engineering studies toward an initial mineral reserve estimate in early 2026.
