10:01 AM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lyft ( LYFT ) said Wednesday it is partnering with Mobileye (MBLY), May Mobility, and Nexar to expand autonomous vehicle, or AV, services on its rideshare platform.

Financial terms were not provided.

The company said its agreement with Mobileye will allow vehicles equipped with Mobileye's self-driving tech to operate on its network, making it easier for fleet operators to integrate AVs for rideshare use.

May Mobility will launch a fleet of autonomous minivans in Atlanta through Lyft's ( LYFT ) platform starting in 2025, with plans for broader market expansion, Lyft ( LYFT ) said.

Nexar and Lyft ( LYFT ) will use combined data insights to support AV safety and development, integrating Nexar's video data with Lyft's ( LYFT ) aggregated rider data, the company added.

Shares of Lyft ( LYFT ) were up 0.4% in recent Wednesday trading.
