Lyft to Open New Technology Hub in Toronto in H2 of 2026

10:13 AM EDT, 10/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lyft ( LYFT ) said Thursday it is opening a new technology hub in downtown Toronto in H2 of 2026.

The new Toronto office will be Lyft's ( LYFT ) second North American technology hub and will employ several hundred team members, the ride hailing company said.

Lyft ( LYFT ) also said that rides in Canada have grown over 20% in H1 of 2025 compared with the same period last year.

Shares of the company were up nearly 1% in recent Thursday trading.
