Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.96.

Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $10.32 billion, down from $10.63 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $10.61 billion.

Shares of the company were down 2.7% in recent Friday premarket activity.
