Mach Natural Resources to Acquire Oil & Gas Assets for $1.3 Billion

08:06 AM EDT, 07/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mach Natural Resources ( MNR ) said Thursday it agreed to acquire oil and gas assets from Sabinal Energy and from entities managed by IKAV Energy for a combined $1.3 billion.

The company said the deals, expected to close in Q3, will expand its scale and geographic reach, nearly doubling daily production to about 152,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 81,000.

Mach said it will acquire Sabinal's assets for $500 million, funded through $300 million in common units and the remainder in cash and credit facility borrowings.

The IKAV San Juan assets will be acquired for $787 million, using $462 million in equity and the remainder in cash and borrowings, the company said.

The acquisitions are expected to be immediately accretive to cash available for distribution, the company said.
