09:48 AM EDT, 07/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MAG Silver ( MAG ) confirmed Wednesday a fatal accident at its 44%-owned Juanicipio mine in Mexico this month.

The company did not provide further details on the accident that killed an employee, but said a full investigation was immediately launched to understand how it occurred.

MAG Silver ( MAG ) also said the Juanicipio plant processed 343,000 metric tons of ore in Q2, consistent with its nameplate capacity of 4,000 metric tons per day, and preliminary production during the quarter included 4.3 million ounces of silver and 10,465 ounces of gold.
