08:17 AM EDT, 03/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MAG Silver Corp. ( MAG ) said Wednesday that it has filed on SEDAR, the Juanicipio Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserves NI 43-101 Technical Report for the Juanicipio Mine, located in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico.
The company said the report reflects the "strength" of Juanicipio's economics over an initial 13-year life of mine generating an annual average free cash flow of more than $130 million at a pricing of $22 per ounce of silver and $1,750 per ounce of gold.
Payable production is 93 million ounces of silver, 557,000 ounces of gold, 719 million pounds of lead, and 991 million pounds of zinc.
The report also indicated substantial growth in measured and indicated mineral resources to 17 million tons at grades of 310 grams per ton of silver, 1.86 grams per ton of gold, 2.89% lead, and 5.32% zinc.
Also, the company reported 15.4 million tons of proven and probable mineral reserves at grades of 248 grams per ton of silver, 1.58 grams per ton of gold, 2.64% lead, and 4.80% zinc.
The overall 7,679-hectare Juanicipio property remains largely unexplored with high potential for the discovery of new mineralization.
