Magna International Launches New EV Drive System Plant in Wuhu, China

03:39 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Magna International ( MGA ) said late Tuesday it is establishing a new electric drive system production facility at the Jiujiang Economic Development Zone in Wuhu, China.

The facility will begin by providing drive systems for Chinese automaker Chery and later add other clients, the company said.

The new 160,000-square-foot facility will manufacture Magna's eDrive systems, Magna said.
