Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.53.
Sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $10.98 billion, compared with $10.63 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $10.73 billion.
The company updated its 2026 guidance and now expects adjusted EPS of $6.70 to $7.30, from $6.25 to $7.25 previously.
Sales guidance was cut to between $41.30 billion and $42.50 billion, from the previous range of $41.50 billion to $43.10 billion.
Analysts expect $6.76 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $42.35 billion.
