08:39 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Magnachip Semiconductor ( MX ) said Monday that it is expanding production of its seventh-generation Magnachip eXtreme Trench low voltage metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors, or MXT LV MOSFETs.

The company said the transistors are based on a technology that improves battery performance and efficiency, prolongs battery life and lowers overheating.

Magnachip said its MXT LV MOSFETs are designed for various mobile devices, including smartphones.
