08:47 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Main Street Capital ( MAIN ) said Thursday that it originated $117.3 million in new or increased commitments in its private loan portfolio in Q3.

The investment firm also said it funded total investments within its private loan portfolio with a total cost basis of $113.3 million during the quarter.

As of the end of September, Main Street Capital's ( MAIN ) private loan portfolio included total investments of approximately $1.2 billion across 86 firms, the company said.
