Main Street Capital Reports $55.5 Million Gain From Partial Exit in Nebraska Vet

10:53 AM EDT, 05/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Main Street Capital ( MAIN ) reported a gain of $55.5 million from the partial exit of its equity investment in Nebraska Vet AcquireCo, doing business as Heritage Vet Partners.

The gain included a minority equity ownership position in Heritage's acquirer, received as part of the sale proceeds, Main Street Capital ( MAIN ) said Monday in a statement. The company also collected $7.4 million in total dividends over the life of its equity investment.

Main Street fully exited its debt investments in Heritage following a majority recapitalization led by a new financial sponsor.

On a cumulative basis, including both debt and equity investments, the company realized a 32% internal rate of return.
