11:27 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MakeMyTrip ( MMYT ) said Monday it closed a public offering of 16 million common shares at $90 apiece and 2.4 million in additional shares upon the full exercise of an overallotment option by underwriters for net proceeds of $1.62 billion.

The company also closed a $1.25 billion senior notes offering due 2030 to institutional buyers as well as an additional $187.5 million of the notes upon the full exercise of an overallotment option, according to a statement.

MakeMyTrip ( MMYT ) plans to use the net proceeds from the offerings to repurchase a portion of its class B common shares from Trip.com Group ( TCOM ) .
