Revenue from services for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $4.53 billion, down from $4.68 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.49 billion.

For Q4, the staffing firm expects earnings of $0.98 to $1.08 per diluted share. Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.33.

Shares of the company fell more than 7% in Thursday's premarket.
