Manulife Completes Acquisition of CQS

03:52 AM EDT, 04/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Manulife Financial's ( MFC ) Manulife Investment Management said Wednesday it has completed its acquisition of CQS, a credit management firm.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The completion came after the UK's Financial Conduct Authority approved the acquisition.

The company said it intends to integrate the CQS brand into the company name, rebranding as Manulife-CQS Investment Management. CQS Chief Executive Soraya Chabarek will retain her role.
