Manulife Financial's New Subordinated Notes Assigned "BBB+" Rating by Fitch

09:50 AM EDT, 06/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fitch Ratings said on Tuesday that it assigned a "BBB+" rating to Manulife Financial's ( MFC ) recently announced S$500 million ($507.3 million) 4.275% subordinated note issuance.

The ratings previously assigned to the company and its insurance-operating subsidiaries remain unchanged.

The company's shares edged up 0.3% on last look on Wednesday in Canada.

Price: 35.13, Change: +0.11, Percent Change: +0.31
