07:10 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Manulife Canada (MFC.TO, MFC) and M3 Financial Group announced Monday a new partnership that will see Manulife's mortgage protection products offered through M3's networks of more than 8.500 brokers.

The partnership will first launch in British Columbia. M3 brokers will offer Manulife's comprehensive mortgage protection plan, which includes creditor life and disability insurance. This initial launch reflects the first phase of a broader collaboration between Manulife and M3, a statement said.

"By combining Manulife's mortgage protection expertise with M3's broker network, we're giving brokers the tools to help more Canadians protect one of the biggest financial purchases they'll make," said Pamela Wong, head of affinity at Manulife Canada.

Manulife shares are down $0.05, to $31.91, in the U.S. pre-market trading.
