06:52 AM EST, 11/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Maple Leaf Foods ( MLFNF ) on Wednesday reported higher third-quarter adjusted profit on improved pork market conditions and operational efficiencies.
Adjusted operating earnings rose to $73.6 million, or $0.18 per adjusted share, from $70.5 million or $0.13 last year.
Sales increased 1.8% to $1.26 billion. Sales in the Prepared Foods operating unit climbed 2%, while sales in the Pork operating unit rose 1.1%.
For the full year 2024, Maple Leaf Foods ( MLFNF ) expects low single digit revenue growth.
