09:10 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Marathon Digital Holdings ( MARA ) said Wednesday it produced 673 bitcoins in August, down 3% from the output in July.

No year-ago comparisons were reported.

The firm said it had 25,945 bitcoins at the end of August.

Marathon also said it increased its month-over-month energized hash rate by 11% in August to 35.2 exahash.

Shares of the company were down 2% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
