10:30 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Maravai LifeSciences ( MRVI ) said Monday it appointed Bernd Brust as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Brust was also appointed as a member of the board.

Brust, who succeeds William Martin III, most recently served as executive chairman and previously as CEO of Antylia Scientific, Maravai said.

Also, Maravai said it is neither reaffirming nor withdrawing its prior 2025 financial guidance at this time. The company plans to revisit its guidance during the second-quarter earnings call in August.

The company's shares fell 4% in recent trading.
