Marcus Theaters Post 'Record' Memorial Day Weekend; Shares Rise

11:15 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Marcus (MCS) said Tuesday its Marcus Theatres division saw a "record-setting" Memorial Day weekend for box office sales, attendance, concessions and food and beverage revenue.

The company said hits like "Lilo & Stitch" and "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" supported the results during the weekend.

Marcus Theatres said this was its best Memorial Day weekend four-day box office, as well the top-grossing Memorial Day weekend for premium formats.

Marcus shares were 8% higher in recent trading.
