Marex Agrees to Acquire Swiss Fixed-Income Market Maker Valcourt

07:44 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Marex ( MRX ) said Wednesday it has agreed to acquire Valcourt, a fixed-income market maker based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Valcourt specializes in trading high-yield, subordinated, emerging market, private, illiquid, and sustainable debt instruments, Marex ( MRX ) said. The acquisition will bring around 700 new clients to Marex ( MRX ), including banks, independent wealth managers, and asset managers.

Valcourt expects the transaction to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
