05:33 PM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Markel Group ( MKL ) said Thursday its insurance arm, Markel Insurance, formed a collaboration with insurtech firm Insurate to expand into the middle-market workers compensation space.

Insurate uses artificial intelligence and advanced safety-scoring methodologies to underwrite and manage complex workers compensation risks.

The companies said it aim to provide tailored workers compensation solutions for the middle market, combining Markel's ( MKL ) underwriting strength with Insurate's technology-driven approach.
