11:12 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AbbVie ( ABBV ) is terminating its decade-long partnership with Calico Life Sciences, an Alphabet-backed (GOOG, GOOGL) biotech company dedicated to aging research, STAT+ reported Wednesday, citing internal emails it viewed.

AbbVie ( ABBV ) is also laying off chemists working on research into new drugs, the report said, citing the email.
