02:52 PM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Air Canada ( ACDVF ) is cutting some non-union management positions, multiple Canadian news outlets are reporting Friday.

According to a statement to CBC News, the airline is cutting some positions after an extensive review and is cutting 1% of its total staff; about 400 people.

News of the planned job cuts first broke yesterday, the same day Air Canada ( ACDVF ) announced it would expand service from Toronto's Billy Bishop airport, CBC noted.

Air Canada ( ACDVF ) shares are up $0.02, to $18.36, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
