11:02 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Airlines resumed flights Friday morning after a big tech outage, but problems are expected to linger throughout the day, The New York Times reported Friday.

Over 1,400 flights in the US were canceled and at least 3,800 were delayed as of midmorning, according to the report, which cited data from FlightAware, a company that tracks flight information.
