07:23 AM EDT, 09/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alaska Air Group ( ALK ) is converting a portion of its outstanding Boeing ( BA ) 787 jets order into the larger 787-10 model to meet increasing demand, especially in high-traffic routes, Reuters reported Thursday.

The company confirmed the conversion to Reuters and said it will announce more details, including the number and delivery schedule, "soon."

Alaska Air Group ( ALK ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
