07:46 AM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alibaba Group ( BABA ) has introduced an artificial intelligence model that the company claims can read emotions, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.

Alibaba ( BABA ) researchers demonstrated the new open source that detects a person's emotional state from a video and describe their clothing and surroundings, the report said.

Alibaba ( BABA ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
