"Dozens and dozens" from Wondery's content and advertising teams were impacted by the move, a source familiar with the matter told the news outlet. However, an Amazon ( AMZN ) spokesperson said that layoffs only affected "a small number of roles," according to the report.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediate reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
