09:02 AM EST, 01/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) will spend $6 billion more than it had expected on a data center project in Mississippi, Bloomberg reported, citing state planning documents.

According to the documents, it will cost Amazon ( AMZN ) $16 billion to build two data center campuses, compared with the $10 billion it said it expected to invest a year ago, Bloomberg said.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
