12:09 PM EST, 11/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) is collaborating with Mexican grocery delivery startup Justo to offer its products through Amazon's ( AMZN ) platform in Mexico, Bloomberg reported Monday.

The partnership allows Amazon ( AMZN ) to enhance its inventory of fresh products and supermarket staples while increasing Justo's online visibility, Justo's founder and chief executive Ricardo Weder told Bloomberg in an interview.

Customers shopping on Amazon's ( AMZN ) site will have access to a range of Justo products, including fresh produce, meat, and fish, with Justo managing the delivery logistics, Bloomberg said.

Justo primarily operates in Mexico City and in a handful of other cities including Monterrey, with smaller ventures in Peru and Brazil, employing about 2,500 people, the report said.

Amazon ( AMZN ) and Justo did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
