08:48 AM EDT, 07/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) will discontinue its free streaming service Freevee in August as part of efforts to streamline content under Prime Video, CNBC reported Wednesday, citing a notice to users.

Freevee content, including originals and live TV, will move exclusively to Prime Video and viewers will be able to watch for free, even without a subscription to the Prime loyalty program, CNBC said.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
