Beginning this quarter's midyear review cycle, Amazon ( AMZN ) managers will use a three-tiered system to assess corporate employees' demonstration of the company's core values in their work, according to the document obtained by the news outlet.

This is the first time that the Leadership Principles, which are used by Amazon ( AMZN ) to guide almost all business decisions, have been formally embedded in the employee evaluation process, according to the report.
