07:08 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) 1.13 billion euro ($1.31 billion) fine for alleged antitrust violations has been reduced by an Italian administrative court, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a court document.
The online retailer was fined by Italy's competition authority for allegedly abusing its dominant position in e-commerce logistics services in a ruling that was upheld by the administrative court, Reuters reported.
But the court also ruled that the fine must be recalculated as the regulator had failed to explain reasons for a 50% discretionary increase, the report said.
Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
