02:29 PM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon's ( AMZN ) upgraded digital assistant, Alexa+, has reached over a million users, TechCrunch reported Monday, citing the company.
Alexa+, which is not yet publicly available, was first unveiled in February and had more than 100,000 users as of May, the report said, citing Amazon ( AMZN ) Chief Executive Andy Jassy.
The generative AI-powered digital assistant is available at no cost during an early access period and will be offered for free to Prime customers, TechCrunch said, adding that non-Prime users will be able to use the service for $19.99 per month after it publicly launches.
