08:00 AM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) is planning to restart shipments of its MI308 chips to China after being told by the US Commerce Department that license applications for those products would move forward for review, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing an AMD spokesperson.

AMD did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
