04:28 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) is in discussions to sell 10,000 artificial intelligence accelerators to South Korean startup Upstage, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing Upstage Chief Executive Sung Kim.
The companies reportedly discussed a potential deal for the MI355 accelerator recently.
"We have a lot of Nvidia ( NVDA ) chips in Korea, but we want to diversify to other chips, including AMD's," Bloomberg reported, citing Kim.
AMD didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
The company's shares were down 2.1% in premarket activity.
