03:31 PM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- American Airlines' ( AAL ) passenger jet collision with a Black Hawk helicopter in January will be subject to a three-day investigative hearing by the US National Transportation Safety Board, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy.
The hearing is scheduled to begin on July 30, according to the report.
The hearing is vital to the NTSB's safety investigation and will help the agency secure additional evidence in order to complete the investigation, Homendy told Reuters.
American Airlines ( AAL ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
