04:50 AM EDT, 03/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon ( AMZN )-backed (AMZN) Anthropic has said that the Pentagon's move to blacklist it as a supply chain risk jeopardizes billions of dollars in revenue, The Information reported, citing court documents in the company's lawsuit against the US government.

The Pentagon slapped Anthropic with the designation after the company refused to allow its AI technology to be used for autonomous warfare and domestic surveillance.

The company said it has already lost customers including the US Food and Drug Administration, which has switched from Anthropic's Claude to a different AI, the report said.

Anthropic did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
