05:50 PM EDT, 05/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN )-backed (AMZN) Anthropic's Q2 revenue is set to more than double to $10.9 billion, helping the AI startup achieve an operating profit for the first time, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Anthropic is expected to post an operating profit of $559 million in the June quarter, though it might not remain profitable for the full year as it plans higher spending due to its vast computing needs, according to the report.

Anthropic did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
