Market Chatter: Apollo, Bain Among Private-Equity Bidders for Continental's Industrial Unit

01:33 PM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) and Bain Capital are among the private-equity firms bidding to acquire Continental AG's industrial unit, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Advent and CVC Capital Partners have made a joint offer for the business, while Platinum Equity, KPS Capital Partners and Clearlake Capital have moved on to the next round of bidding, the report said.

A deal could value the ContiTech unit at 3.5 billion euros ($4.1 billion) to 4 billion euros, the report said.

Apollo didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
