03:30 PM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global (APO) and Qatari investment fund Irth Capital have made an offer to buy Papa John's (PZZA), which could value the pizza chain at roughly $2 billion, Semafor reported Wednesday, citing people close to the matter.
The group has offered to pay a per-share price "in the low $60s," the report said, citing the people.
Irth already has a 5% stake in the pizza chain, according to the report.
Apollo, Irth Capital and Papa John's didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Papa John's shares were up more than 9% in recent trading.
