Market Chatter: Apollo Global, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs Working With Other Banks to Trade Private Credit
May 29, 2025 11:52 AM

02:17 PM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) , JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) , Goldman Sachs ( GS ) and three other banks are collaborating to trade private credit, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The people said the lenders are serving as broker-dealers, either acquiring debt from Apollo to add to their own balance sheets or brokering and pricing the debt to third parties.

The extra liquidity gives Apollo a chance to originate larger loans quickly and reach out to individual clients who sometimes have to recoup their investments more often than institutions, the people said.

Apollo, JPMorgan ( JPM ), and Goldman Sachs ( GS ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
