Market Chatter: Apollo Global Management Backs Adani Energy's $500 Million Debt Deal
Mar 11, 2026 3:33 AM

06:06 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) has helped India's Adani Energy raise $500 million in bilateral debt through a privately placed bond, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A firm controlled by Adani Energy Solution sold the 15-year private bonds with a rupee-equivalent all-inclusive cost of about 8.5%, the report said.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the debt to refinance other dollar-denominated debt, the report said.

Apollo did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
