Market Chatter: Apollo Global Management Limits Investor Withdrawals From Flagship Credit Fund; Shares Fall

05:52 PM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) capped redemptions from one of its flagship private credit vehicles after investors tried to withdraw assets above the allowed threshold, the Financial Times reported Monday, citing a letter the fund sent to investors.

The company said investors requested about $1.6 billion from its Apollo Debt Solutions BDC, representing 11.2% of its $15 billion in net assets. This was above the 5% limit that that allows Apollo to restrict outflows.

Apollo fulfilled just under half of the withdrawal request, according to the report.

The firm did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares fell around 1.6% in recent after-hours trading.
