10:54 AM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) is in talks to buy GFL Environmental's ( GFL ) environmental services division for about $8 billion, The Globe and Mail reported Wednesday, citing two sources familiar with the negotiations.

The deal is expected to be announced in early January, according to the report.

Apollo and GFL did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
