12:36 PM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management's ( APO ) new private-credit trading desk will concentrate on high-quality debt the company originated, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The firm plans to package the investment-grade debt into exchange-traded funds for investors, the report said.

Eric Needleman, head of capital solutions, is leading the desk, and Apollo may hire more people as the trading project progresses, the report said.

Apollo didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
