12:28 PM EDT, 03/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) awarded out-of-cycle bonuses to many members of its iPhone Product Design team, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The bonuses, granted as stock units that vest over four years, are aimed at retaining engineers amid increased recruiting pressure from AI startups.

The awards are worth between $200,000 to $400,000 over the full vesting period, according to the report Thursday.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
