09:53 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is slashing iPhone Air production orders and boosting those for other iPhone 17 models, Nikkei Asia reported Wednesday, citing sources.

The production adjustment reflects tepid iPhone Air reception in non-China markets as well as unexpectedly strong demand for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models, the report said, citing the sources.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
