07:04 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) plans to invest in a manufacturing facility in Indonesia that will produce components for smartphones and other products, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing Indonesia's investment minister Rosan Roeslani.

Roeslani told reporters that the discussions between Apple ( AAPL ) and Indonesia are ongoing, with details of the investment still being finalized.

Apple ( AAPL ) and Indonesia's investment ministry did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
